Friends-Who are your friends?

In my alone time with God, I came across a verse, John 15 vs. 15 says, "I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything I have learned from my Father I have made known to you.

So, I find myself asking, "who are my friends"? Am I sharing Jesus with my friends?

I have friends I have known for a really long time, I have friends that I have only just met. But, the best friends I have are the ones who live my life with me, whether they are fighting cancer with every ounce of FIRE God has so graciously bestowed on them or they are just coming to terms with the fact that their very beautiful daughter now lives in heaven with Jesus. I have friends I would really like to know more about and friends I know to much about (lol). But, the most important thing is we all share Jesus, in our own ways, with each other. My friends are beautiful, strong, powerful, and true daughters of the Most High King.

I am very thankful for being chosen to be a friend of Jesus, anyone who accepts Jesus into their heart is His friend too.

Thank you to ALL my friends for being who you are!!

Love you ALL
Sheila

Worship

Wow! God is so faithful to us, as He has prepared us for All He has for us, He has given us a heart for true worship, He has given us the ability to keep a heart of humilty, a heart not afraid, a want to put Him first everyday, a yearning in our heart for prayer, a restful heart, a thirsty heart, and a heart that feeds on living water.

In two weeks He will show us how our hearts react to Him in Praise, why is this so important?

Don't miss out on the last part of how to live a balanced life, God has supplied all the tools we need, lets use them!!!!!!

Also talking about new things for fall!

Attitude of humility

Our humility toward others is the only sufficient proof
that our humility before God is Real.

-Andrew Murray

WOW! Let's chew on this one for awhile ladies.

Pre-Healing

Jesus wants to Heal His women, but our ATTITUDES are in His way. We must learn to Humble ourselves at the feet of Jesus. James said, "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord and He will lift you up" (James 4vs.10)

How do I humble myself? James 4vs.8 says, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you."

A Humble attitude keeps us at the feet of Jesus. We see who we really are inside and who He really is in our lives.

Humility comes before Healing. When we are right with God, He can move in our lives as He needs to.

We must humble ourselves, we must pray, we must seek Him, and we must turn away from our
sin. We must go to God everyday, and read His word and apply it to our lives.

Ladies, I know this is very short, I have the notes from this lesson if interesed. It mostly came from " Setting the Captives Free"bible study.

Blessings

Fear

Wow! What a great time we had last night ladies! Thanks so much for making it all worth it!

When I read Joshua 10vs.25 Joshua said to them, "Fear not nor be dismayed; be strong and of good courage. For thus shall the Lord do to ALL your enemies against whom you fight."(emphasis mine)

I had been praying for the next piece to our balance journey. As God showed me that fear was the next step I thought how can that be. As the Lord shared, fear is not to hold us back from anything. We can hold ourselves back. God will never leave us. He is always there. We found out through our discussion that we all have fears of some kind. Some are small and some are big. The small fears we have can be just as disabling as the big fears. Some of us are afraid to disappoint our parents, some afraid of losing our hair, some afraid of others watching us working out, some even afraid to ask for prayer because we should be able to go to God on our own and ask. Such HORRIBLE lies are from the enemy!! Fear is from Satan not God! Satan keeps us in bondage when we give in to these fears.

As we have been seeking balance in our lives Satan has been throwing these lies at us and we have been giving in to them. How do I know that? WE know because we would not still be struggling with trying to get healthy or talking to our parents or just plain doing what it takes to be balanced.

God has given each step as we have met together, here they are again:

  • Living water=His Word
  • Drinking water=Real water, fellowship and unity
  • Rest in Jesus=sleep
  • Prayer=quiet time with God, talking to Him and listening to him
  • Put God first=Make Him number 1 in your life, literally
  • Fear=Do not be afraid, God is in control

God is so faithful to us, will we be faithful to Him?

test

Who AM I hanging out with today?

What an AWESOME rainy day. God is still in control of everything! As I was journaling this morning I saw myself hanging out with Jesus and all the issues of the day like; "mom, I need this or that", or one of the little ones needing a diaper change, and Jesus was right by my side. WOW! What a way to start the day! Start with Jesus at my side, and take him everywhere I go.
